Everything you will see during the tour will impress you, you will want to come back again and devote more time to explore local cuisine, famous for its cheese, Apple cider, Calvados and oysters. Cheese is so important to the Normandy, here you will find Normandy’s cheese route with world famous cheeses such as Camembert, Livarot, Pont-l'Évêque. All these names you can easily find on the map, they are named after small villages and cities in which these cheeses are made. The labels on cheeses contain the letters A.O.C., showing its noble origin. Cheese routes crosses with numerous Cider routes (sparkling apple cider) and Calvados (Apple vodka). You can say a lot about the traditional Normandy food - only fresh seafood itself is worth amention (oysters, mussels, lobster), local fruits, alcohol and non-alchocol drinks, homemade foie gras, sold by farmers at local markets, fresh vegetables from the garden in every season - but it is better to try once than hear a hundred times.

Normandy is beautiful with its outstanding natural beauty, color harmony and refined local cuisine. Normandy was the birthplace of The Art of Eating an Oyster. Cheeses of Normandy — another magnet for culinary tourists from all over the world which visit cheese routes in Normandy. Our route passes through four known towns in Normandy: Rouen, Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. The duration of our tour through Normandy is 12 hours, get your camera ready for pictures of beautiful nature.

Rouen is the historic capital of Normandy with perfectly preserved medieval architecture. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen - one of the world's magnificent gothic masterpiece. Monet lived in Rouen for some time and painted the Rouen Cathedral. The city is forever written in the historical Chronicles of France, because Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake in Rouen. Church had been erected at the place of her execution, to honour her memory. The Impressionists captured the beauty of Rouen forever and left a rich collection of paintings at the art Museum of the city, where you can see the works painted by Rubens, Velasquez and Modigliani. Madame Bovary, was written by Flaubert in Rouen.

Further our path lies to Honfleur, one of the most picturesque ports in France, which attracts not only tourists but also artists from all over the world, because of its Harbours with blue and white yachts and fishing boats. Here you can admire the waterfront view, taste the most delicious ice cream in Normandy, meet the art collectors, which love designer shops and chic flea market. You will see the Church of St. Catherine, will be able to walk through the garden city, where is placed the statue in honor to the literary heroine of the 19th century - Mumu. Here local artisans produce their famous Apple cider and Calvados.

We continue our trip - Deauville is famous for its casinos and horse racing. The city has always attracted artists. Here they found peace and joy, which is hard to find in large cities. After the creators followed their wealthy fans, local services align with their preferences, tastes and habits. Hotels, restaurants and shops in Deauville do not inferior to Paris.
Great fun, the gifts of nature — the ebb tide of the English channel (The French called the channel La Manche). At the high tide the water is approachinga hundred meters for a few minutes, leaving a narrow sand corridor instead of the beach, scattering seashells on the sandy beach, local and visiting kids rushes there headlong.

The next town on our route is a twin of Deauville. Here you will see the exqisit villas of the early 20th century, casino and thalassotherapy centre. For sports enthusiasts there is the possibility of windsurfing, golf and horse riding. Among the more moderate entertainment is offered a lively fish market with delicious marine reptiles. Trouville hostess the jazz and film festivals, parades of vintage cars and horse racing.
